History:
October 2003:
LAND ONE is decided as an Internet television channel. The company which owns LAND ONE was
then named as LAND TELEVISION.
December 2004:
The LAND ONE Internet channel idea revealed to the public.
November 2005:

LAND TELEVISION is due to begin Test Transmissions in early 2006 at : www.glidedigital.com type LAND ONE into the Glide Digital website.

LAND ONE/LAND TELEVISION Test Transmissions/Closedowns.
LAND ONE will often show a Test Card called PM5544 this
is accompanied by a 1KHz tone. Test Transmissions include a series of Test Patterns will will be shown to test the television
service. These Tests Transmissions will be nightly from when LAND ONE launches in early November 2006.
LAND ONE will begin each days broadcast with a selection of teletext pages called LANDTEXT, these
teletext pages will be accompanied by either 1KHz tone or Music, usually between 5:00am - 6:00am Monday - Friday mornings.
How to receive LAND ONE:
First visit the Glide Digital website at: www.glidedigital.com and download Windows Media Player if it wasn't included with your computer. Windows Media Player can also be downloaded
at: www.microsoft.com software section.
Then type LAND ONE into the Search Engine of the Glide Digital website. Then press Play on
the Windows Media Player, then you should be able to receive LAND ONE from LAND TELEVISION.

At 6:00am on Thursday 2 November 2006, a new Internet television
channel called LAND ONE which is owned by LAND TELEVISION will be launching on a website called Glide Digital at:
www.glidedigital.com viewers will be able to receive LAND ONE via the Glide Digital Search Engine by typing the words LAND ONE to receive
the service free of charge.
LAND ONE will be carrying out Test Transmissions on the Glide Digital website at: www.glidedigital.com the Test Transmissions begin in early 2006 and last up until November 2006 when the channel LAND ONE officially
launches.
LAND ONE will broadcast Documentries, Drama, Cartoons, and General interest programmes, there is
also a chance for viewers to submit their own programmes which will be shown in the schedule.
LAND ONE will broadcast from 6:00am - 12:00am Monday - Sunday.

LAND TELEVISION is looking for the public to send in their videos
of various subjects here are a few ideas of what videos that you may want to send in.
Cookery, Sport events, Ghosts, UFO, Extreme Weather, Places of interest, Wildlife, Space and Astronomy and
much more.
Here are the rules for submitting videos:
1. Videos must be not be Explicit or Offensive.
2. Videos must be of the mentioned subjects on this website.
3. All material must be your own Copyright.
4. Videos must be in MPEG or Windows Media Video format, these need to be sent to the LAND TELEVISION
E-mail address below.
5. Watch your videos on LAND ONE, check the schedule regularly to see when your production
will be shown.
Your Video submission Lengths:
14 minutes, 15 seconds, 29 Minutes, 15 seconds, 44 minutes, 15 seconds or 59 minutes, 15 seconds.
The reason for these video lengths are to allow 30 seconds or a trailer or menu and 15 seconds for a Continuity
